PKR is quite clear in terms of what it's advocating (rule of law, anti-corruption etc)whereas PAS equates being Islamic as voting for PAS. Its ability to convey this convincingly enough to voters is restricted by its own argument and voter demographics meaning the number of people who would be taken in by this would be Muslims who agree with PAS's narrow interpretation of Islamic laws and principles. The Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Caliphate State were banned in Germany as they were said to be anti-constitutional not that they were Islamic. The Hizb ut-Tahrir advocated a 'new caliphate' to replace the current world order. Malaysia has to chart its own course and not blindly emulate any nation, first world or third world. It is a delicate balance we tread between nationalist sentiments and racist sentiments from whichever side of the fence we may be on.
